I don't think Justice Souter will retire in the near future, unless there's some reason I'm unaware of. He's still fairly young and healthy.

I sure wish one or more of the liberal Justices would find a reason to leave the court in the next couple months, though. I don't trust Kennedy as a "swing" vote on the Court.

You are projecting your desires and showing you lack of knowledge of the courts. Ginsberg would be a better former Justice than she ever has been Justice.
