That'll never happen. The lib Republicans are too close in thinking to the Dems. They'll eventually merge into a mega lib party and the conservatives will disappear. Unless, and this is big, a new right wing leader comes out of the back room and excites conservatives the way Barry Goldwater did in the '60s. He didn't get enough of them excited back then to win election, but he set the stage for a conservative movement that lasted until the Bush folks came along. OTOH, the libs may screw things up so bad and so fast that they will aid in my hoped for conservative resurgence. It will take time.
