Let me see if I can make it plainer- while it doesn't really matter WHY people have negative feelings, and it may not be "fair" to Hillary, if you want a viable candidate (as many people do), it's nice to have one with lower negatives. Does that make some sense?

I don't quite understand that. She is responsible for people's negative feelings?

My point is that it doesn't matter. I understand why you feel it's not fair. But whether it's fair or not, it's real. I think that's what Rambi's saying, too.

If a professional athlete is hit by a drunk driver and are disabled, you don't send him to the Olympics. It's not his fault. And it's not fair. It's tragic. And you feel sorry for him and want to fix it. But you can't. And as a result he isn't qualified to do the job and you don't select him to go.

Hillary, too, has a serious handicap. She can't escape her negatives. They won't let her. There's nothing you can do. Recognizing that isn't bashing Hillary, it's being realistic.
