This is another case where there are two distinct and opposing views. The first says that Hillary's negatives put a ceiling on her potential vote total, plus they mobilize wavering Republicans against her. The other view is that she has been thru the wars of the 90's, and is best positioned to fight the next round and win. Both have a certain amount of "proof" but ultimately, which will prove true is a matter of assumption.

She had a lot of negatives going into New York, but New Yorkers got to know her and saw the work that she was doing. New York voters are a pretty savvy bunch. As they say, "if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere...".
