If we do go to 7500, I doubt its going to be next week. The pain legitimately has to start bleeding through our institutions, and people have to start panicking(sp?). (or more accurately has to continue to bleed through these guys.) Real estate has started coming down, but has a ways to go. In any case, it never makes sense to assume immediate catastrophe, and I don't know if I enjoy making money shorting stocks anyways. It requires too much attention.

I actually think that in the relatively near term (over the next month or so) we'll probably see a few things that the market will see as a positive, primarily bond insurer related and abs related.
