I sold my GQC quite a while ago on what appeared to be stupid investor expectations and the negative correlation between news and share price caused by such herd reactions. Thought it was dead money and would need time and consistent results to be back in play. I am usually more patient but current markets are stressing me.

I think GQC is a very solid JR. with an excellent portfolio, very prospective VMS drill play unfolding and Jvs with a major. The double edge sword of the JV's with a senior always drive me nuts as the SR sits on info and does nothing even when good work and progress are made but just try to find out about it!! When I first spoke to Alastair in July he was pleased I was interested in more than just Las Animas and mentioned news from the JV properties should be forthcoming, there has been one announcement since then, drilling started in October but no news yet. GQC itself might consider putting out news more than once every 3 mos.

So, I think GQC has a hard time getting market attention/ share price appreciation for now but they are building value steadily and in the end that should be recognized. It would be nice if Gold Fields gave a positive surprise. Hard working, honest, successful exploration with poor storytelling, GQC will be much higher some time in the future.

Cheers,
Ogi
