There are some interesting graphs in there.

Also found the current record for conversion efficiency is about 19.5%, which isn't half bad considering how spread out the solar spectrum is.

that sounds correct.

Nothing wrong with thin films that ae 7% efficient. Many solar panels of all types incl silicon were 7% efficient well into the 90s. But now, first solar has set the standard with a 10.5% sola panel- maybe they will be at 11% when they announce their earnings in feb. Thats really the standard to beat at this point. First movers hardly ever win so somebody will likely take out FSLR at some point, but right now they are the one everybody talks about.
