the more i accept that some of these high profile endorsements have backfired, i am not so sure gore will do obama any good. Hillary has positioned herself as the centrist even though her HC proposal is to the left of obama. I think obama needs to shore up the right flank. I like the idea of Jim Webb playing a role in the administration and it being pre-announced. Gore might want to stay above the fray and then support the nominee. BTW Howard Dean says that he will bang candidates heads together in march/april so candidate will be decided before convention.
