The most realistic path to reducing global warming gases is to limit emissions across the economy by putting a price on carbon.

A truly realistic policy that would significantly cut CO2 emissions would take what is now a weak, sputtering economy and flush it down the toilet into a deep depression or worse. And it's debatable whether or not it would have even a minuscule effect on climate. That's a fact, Jack.

So go ahead, red/greenies, tax the hell out of carbon, cut off extraction and utilization of new sources, get rid of the 90% plus vehicles that don't even come close to meeting the new CAFE and proposed CO2 standards, kill new electrical power plants before they leave the drawing board, yes, reap what you sow.

And after the populace learns the hard way how thoroughly fucked they've been by the anti life, anti prosperity filth who have laid this garbage on them, then we'll see what kind of backlash occurs. Won't be pretty...
