Good grief, what's wrong with adjusting one's expectations according to changing circumstances? He or she who doesn't do so is a stubborn and intractable fool, stuck in a stubborn and very poor place IMO. It doesn't take "utter gall" to adjust one's expectations and predictions in a timely manner, including and perhaps especially when one is a "predictor" of any kind-- it just takes a little common sense and diligence.

It doesn't take much common sense to harp with hindsight and built-in animosity and bias, on what the recipient of the harping did or didn't do "correctly", according to the harper.

I'm a subscriber, and I can tell you that he does explain the reasons for changes in his outlook.

"He must have a lot of subscriber turnover, otherwise, they would soon catch on to the fact that (many times) anything he is currently saying is not to be taken as what he might be saying the following month."

If he didn't adjust his outlook to reflect changing circumstances, his outlook would cease to have value, IMO.
