Seems like quiet monetization through these auctions is
in place. I think normally this would mean an equivalent
of a coupon pass - T-bonds awarded to the Fed on auction
(I don't remember where I read that)

A bunch of bills and bonds have been auctioned lately

treasurydirect.gov

So, let's tally Fed's PRINTING this week, since 1/31/08

4-wk t-bill: $3.1 Billion
13-wk t-bill: $6.1 Billion
26-wk t-bill: $6.7 Billion
2-yr bond: $2.9 Billion
5-yr bond: $1.7 Billion
10-yr bond $6.2 Billion
30-yr bonds: $4.3 Billion

MAMAMIA - and WE THOUGHT THEY DID NOT PRINT SINCE MAY!!!!
