not for the advertisers who bought keywords, they were whining and crying about the high costs from day one almost. Nonetheless they still did it because it was relatively cheap very targeted marketing that they had never had before. Thats like solar - yes it is expensive to install but it pays off right away, forget the cost benefit analysis the bears trot out about people putting solar on their HOMES, yes if you put it on your house it has a higher length for payout, mostly because the panels have to go in the roof, it is not cost of solar or panels it is the roof part you are paying for and that is expensive. But for commercial, many are NOT roof installations which means they are cheap, and even if they are it is the large flatroof commercial install which is cheaper. Commercial is paying .15 per watt in the middle of the day in the summer in the west, literally 4 times the regular utils rate to provide A/C in mid july... solar is an immediate payoff to these people
