Not sure I agree. I'd still prefer the opposition to be a candidate with the head screwed on (relatively) right. Just in case.

They are both bad, but that keeps Bubba out of the White House.

My feeling exactly. Obama may be young, naive and untested, but if we end up with a Dem. president, better it be him than 4 (or 8) more years of Billary and their shenanigans.
