Your story is an example as to the reasons Obama should never consider a VP slot with Hillary, even though it may enhance his own chances to become Potus down the road:

I would surmise he would lose a whole lot of support and appeal among the republicans and especially indies that he now enjoys. They don't want him exposed to the HillyBillies!

My friends, it is Obama or nobody else.

So here's my personal circle of influence. My wife and I and my dad, all registered Republicans, are voting for Obama. My mom is voting for McCain. My brother, the Partner at a law firm, has taken the 5th and refused to commit. His wife is also undecided. Not bad for a conservative as hell Republican family.

I wouldn't keep posting this info if I were you, MM. Somewhere in some dark GOP office, a hit list is being compiled. Near the top of the list is the name Mindmeld. <g>
