Hillary loses against McCain. The relative low turnout in the republican primaries is very deceiving. If HRC is the nominee, the republicans and the indies will unite and come out in mass to overpower HRC.

She cannot win with the support of the democratic base only. That has been shown to be the case in the last 2 elections. That is a losing strategy.

If the democrats want to regain the WH, they superdelegates and the DNC better wise up and side with Obama NOW!

To state the obvious..both parties are having major soul searching right now re: direction to take..with war in Iraq, terrorism, the worsening economy, older democrats are having trouble entrusting Obama..yet entrusting Hillary is entrusting the thinking and policy that got us these problems in the first place...there's major amnesia about this,imo..

The Republicans have always had the secret weapon of the dissension in the Democratic ranks. When the chips are down, the Republicans can always count on the Democrats to squander their chances at winning. So I won't be surprised at all to see Hillary nominated, because the Democratic leadership has always been pretty stupid. However, if they do manage to make the right choice and nominate Obama, then this thing will be a slam dunk. In the latest Time poll, Obama beats McCain by 7%. In the same poll, McCain ties Hillary.
