Thanks Bart...personally, from your long term chart, it looks quite possible that gold is in the middle of a very dynamic phase, exactly the phase I have been waiting for since 2002..so I am holding on with what I feel I can hold thru the ups and downs...I just dont want to get caught in a 50% re-tracement, if I can help it...from my own point of view, I think I will wait for someone like Schulz to identify the bottom for the sp500, which he seems to be very good at, and then I will sell a large portion of my gold shares. At the moment, he is not making any indication that we are near a bottom.

The other piece of my strategy is to try to find those gold/silver companies with great deposits that remain undervalued by the market, with potential for significant additions to reserves, and use that valuation piece to cushion the possibility of a large decline in gold.
