People may not have Ipods and Iphones as there highest priorities if that's the case. I also think that people won't be buying expensive solar systems with very long amortization schedules.
The things people HAVE to have may hold up. WalMart may get popular with the crowd that turn their nose up now.

I bought some more AAPL a smidgen under $120. But also own some a little higher... still slightly under water. Probably won't rally until after the first quarter. And then if this is a really crapping recession then it may just go down.

I am treating this like its very, very early in the next bull market......which means I think we are trying to bottom right now.....a process that could well take months. In this part of the cycle, financials and transportation do best. I also will pick up some of the better housing stocks:



What's looking good is wholesale inventories are remaining lean.......that bodes well for the next up cycle.
