Yesterday, the boys sold the bond market . Today "they" sold the financials and bought Oil and Gold. This is what took place in the 1970's, the era of "stagflation".... 30-year rates (TYX) hit the overhead resistance line yesterday. When a market goes right to a trendline, it's likely it won't break it immediately, but the probability is high that, after a pullback, that trendline will be penetrated. This would confirm that the long term trend in rates is solidly to the upside (correspondingly, the long term trend in bond prices is down).

I get confirmation of the beginning of the Bond Bear once we bust out decisively above Thursday's high on heavy volume.
