Colorado is experiencing much greater than "normal" snow fall in the mountains this winter. Measuring stations all across the Rocky Mountains in the state are showing some areas nearing 140% of normal. This is the earliest this has happened in years as March is typically the heavy snow producer. Now, if we don't get an early and atypically warm spring, which would produce floods, we should send an ample supply downstream this year.
