I am happy to report that increasing the memory from .75G to 1 Gig has improved the performance of my display system and it is paging a lot less. I am still waiting for my 2nd 1GB AR128V72N4SMGAS. 2Gig will like cure all problems. And on recycling, the l440GX motherboard I use was itself a recycled motherboard when I bought it three years back for 30 bucks including shipping. And in looking at the motherboard spec to determine the compatibility of the memory, I found the specific version of my board support 1Ghz processors. Looks like I will be able to get 2 for 30 bucks, but I'm looking at a lot of 5 for many 40 bucks... decisions.
