The speeches he gave about the Founding Fathers supposedly being zealous christians and at the "Conservative" (time to stop calling these people conservatives, they conserve nothing) PAC rally were disgustingly dishonest. Romney simply repeated every buzz word to inflame old myths, hates and prejudices of the far right he could think of. As for the wise Founders, they would hate a phony liar like Romney. They were mainly Agnostics deathly afraid of anything remotely ressembling theocracy. Our freedom of religion is just as equally freedom to believe in nothing, anything or whatever and not be subject to anyone else's religious persecution. The Founders went out nof their way to PROTECT us from the very religious rightists Romney pandered to. Reagan was once a liberal democrat and that and his movie star charisma were the only reason he was ever able to put together such a grand alliance. As for Bush-Cheney, they simply lied and cheated. Romney tried lying too but it didn't work. Very few people believed him. As a result, the Reagan-Bush movement is finished. In fact, Romney is not religious or a rightwinger at all, he's just a big business egomaniac who worships corporate power, profits and greed, and sees the USA as a huge corporation he could manage, probably by cutting jobs and benefits and rewarding those at the top. Also his zeal to increase already bloated defense spending with no special reason why is reckless and vile. The Iraq debacle's cost could give every man woman and child in the USA health care. It is a collosal tragic waste.
