The mob allied with Hoover and the rightwing CIA Cubans after RFK wanted Hoover out and the mob and Cubans felt betrayed. These three groups together had the logical motive, opportunity and means to pull off the JFK assassinations. Some people say LBJ might have also be involved but I don't see him as quite that evil. Besides, the conspiracy didn't need him. Hoover could control the Dallas cops, the mob controlled Ruby and Oswald was definitely working in New Orleans with the rightwing Cubans and Bannister the rightwing former FBI guy before the assassination. The rightwing Cubans were in the business of assassination in Latin America. They pulled off several such coups. Much later we saw them in evidence in the Watergate break-in and the illegal Contra War.

Could Obama end Islamic terrorism just by being elected? It's a thought. Islamic radicalism is fueled by racism, religious bigotry and tribal jealousy/hatred just like those on the far right in this country are motivated. But if the USA elects a man named Obama and we got rid of the easy to hate and recruit terrorists face of GW Bush and replace it with this wonderful new president - maybe it would just all end - saving us trillions of dollars and thousand of lives. One thing I know, it would be damn hard for Al Qaida to recruit terrorists to attack the US with Obama as the new poster boy. But Bush-Cheney, they're so easy for the third world to hate. They really are everything billions of people distrust and despise, and they have given the USA a very bad name around the world. Of course that didn't have to be. After 9-11 the whole world was willing to love us and help us. But Bush-Cheney really-really blew it.
