US Health care costs about 50% too much and democrats can bring that down and maintain quality standards. If you want to pay 50% - 1000% extra for your health care and pills go ahead, but you're a damn fooled in with a bunch of corrupt bastards who have gamed the system for their cronies to suck hundreds of billions of dollars out of the system while neglecting care in millions of cases. If you doubt this, just compare Bush's Medicare to the VA health care. The VA is thankfully not subject to the Bushie Medicare fraud and corruption scheme. It buys drugs for pennies on the dollar compared to Medicare simply because it's allowed to negotiate for such prices. Bush's instsence that Medicare not be allowed to negotiate for lower prices is a huge criminal fixing of the system to benefit only the profiteers. In return the health care sector gave the corrupt rightwing politicians tens of millions in campaign contributions, while screwing us out of hundreds of billions and literally costing US lives.
