Now that you've made a good point for a national sales tax to eliminate the federal income tax, want to help me convince the others on the thread?

At the end of the day I think I'm the same as everyone else on the thread. I support more taxes on others and less on me :-)

Would not a national sales tax vs. the existing federal income tax structure significantly alter the dynamics of saving vs consumption and as a result have a rather dramatic impact on future GDP unless compensated for in other ways?
