With the ECB getting ready IMO to lower Euro interest rates and the Bank of Japan holding steady the overnight Yen rate at .5%, I presume there will be some effect on the Yen when Euro rates go down. Can't say how the dollar will be affected.

I am becoming a bit concerned that Japanese banks have more subprime sludge than they admit. I think it is difficult culturally for the Japanese to 'fess up.

Can't disagree with anyone refusing to hold something with which they are not comfortable.
