We never allowed our dogs on any furniture, including beds. In fact, the last couple dogs we had knew they weren't allowed in the Living Room. They'd come to the entrance, stretch out and look in. We always suspected the kids let them in when we weren't around. But they never admitted it. ggg

That is a good rule. When they are allowed on the bed you are their equal, not their master and it's a recipe for problems.
