It was the last sentence that did it! She who rules, wins! But before I was going to make a case for Golden Retrievers....we've had three of those wonderful guys over the years, and I just can't say enough nice things about them...If you need a guard dog, though, they aren't it. They would lick a thief to death.... My Mom had a Royal Standard Poodle, and they were just in love with each other.... Very cute to watch! Nikki the Poodle was just gaga about Mom and vice versa...She was polite to me when I came to visit and liked me to play catch with her and one of her 2 kazillion balls and toys.... but she was truly Mom's dog.
