Democrats know how to run the government with a minimum of corruption and inefficiency. Rightwingers run our government and military into the ground in an attempt to bankrupt it so they can use that as an excuse for doing away with Social Security. They don't want the middleclass to have a safety net, even if the workers paid for it. They want to steal it. the difference betwen the Clinton and Bush years is one of competence, sustainable susccess and efficiency and total failure and corrupot dishonesty. This is why voters will not let the GOP anywhere near the White House for a long-long time. McCain is merely a sacrificial lamb, and the only reason he got nominated was that he criticized Bush more than the others, except Ron Paul who is doing very well. Huckabee thumbs his nose at the elitist Bushies too and he gets lots of support. The Bush II Romney was slain by voters and dumped in his grave. He will never come back.
