You're speaking like a true fascist. Those "people" don't matter, just the elite ruling class of big business tycoons, old money interests and political bosses. Then just bring in a "strong leader" who orders people around, cracks down on free speech and democracy and scapegoats others for our problems and we have fascism. You'd be very much at home in Nazi Germany. But look, the semi-fascists just had 7 years in power to prove what they can do. They had total power after 9-11 and they could have done any number of wonderful things. Instead, they made horrible corrupt mistakes and ripped the US public off of trillions of dollars. They devastasted both our economy and our military and socked it to the middleclass, environment, alliances, health care, education, etc. So basically Bushies had their chance and blew it. They're finished. And the GOP will not recover from this Bush-cheney debacle until they totally come clean and admit their sins and mistakes. I don't expect that to happen any time soon as the GOP remains largely controlled by those who do not have the well-being on our people and our country at heart. Instead, they think only of themselves. Democrats will now be in control for a long-long time. SO switch parties and join us. Let honest caring leaders take over for a change. No more Bushie style crooks and traitors.
