Hmmm, those properties are actually looking interesting after a quick scan. But I will wait because I think there is, as you say, quite a LOT of financial tidying up to be done along with some geopolitical restructuring.

A couple of years ago when scoping out properties in the Escondido area, I was sticker-shocked and went away. The prices I just saw, while not cheap, are not absurdly ridiculously high. Though I will have to think about water supplies before getting too excited. The word 'desert' features, which is nice in many ways, but trickling streams are always pleasant and sometimes essential.
