Hmmm, those properties are actually looking interesting after a quick scan. But I will wait because I think there is, as you say, quite a LOT of financial tidying up to be done along with some geopolitical restructuring. A couple of years ago when scoping out properties in the Escondido area, I was sticker-shocked and went away. The prices I just saw, while not cheap, are not absurdly ridiculously high. Though I will have to think about water supplies before getting too excited. The word 'desert' features, which is nice in many ways, but trickling streams are always pleasant and sometimes essential. Thanks for the link. I will take a closer look. Mqurice
