I think that's a condition that's gone on for the past number of years. There is a great deal of demand for Colorado River water all along the route. By the time CA and AZ get done pumping, there can't be much left to go south.

It's hard for me to imagine that. My grandparents lived in Grand Lake Colorado when I was young. We would fish the head waters of the Colorado River near their home. That was before the Bureau of Reclamation built additional reservoirs and dams, etc and sent much of that water over here to the eastern slope of the continental divide. There's never enough...
