Forget about the NYT, it's what I was saying, and others, that Bush was making a mess of things in Iraq at the start of the war. Like when Garner was let go (everyone at the time said it was a nuts move, excepting of course the bush supporters)and replaced by Bremer and then he goes and fires all Baathists, disbands the army, Bush taking Rumsfeld's (inexperienced) advice over Powell's (knowledgeable advice), etc. And when we were saying the war was being hugely mismanaged and that our youth were dying in outrageous numbers because of this incompetence, we were called traitors by so may folks on the right.
