The above is kinda true, but the truth is not symmetrical. Warming event do not contrdict, cooling events conradict.

Global Warming for any cause is contradicted by cooling events.
And damn, it's cold outside.


In any case the total of measured current data shows no correlation with any predictions of the models of the IPCC as documented in the publications by the IPCC.

True and I wouldn't argue its proof. But I do think Bastardi's comments about the similarity between now and the 49-50 La Nina which ended a previous warming period are very intriguing. I consider his an educated opinion and while its not proof, its sure something to consider and watch out for regarding the future.

BTW the other side of the AGW argument is quick to latch on to individual weather events and offer them up for evidence of AGW. Accordingly its worthwhile to point out things which contradict those individual weather events and this is sure one.
