mOral,

My Only graduates this year.....going to college and wants to stay home for the 1st 2 years.......wants to teach elementary ed.
When she was 13 we took her out of private school and placed her into a huge public school where we lived. Being a "new" kid she floundered for friends and ultimately connected with a few "leftovers" or mild misfits. Wasn't long before she hated school, the 1000's of kids in the schools and me. Everything in her life was a bitchfest. The fights were of biblical portions. I went from being Daddy of the Year to being a combo Taxi/AMT. And I resented every minute of it. After 4 years I got in touch with a Doc that taught me how the brain of a bitchy/ingrate teen works. Little by little she came around. If I ever have to do it again, I won't. I'll get another dog.

Just kidding. IT was all worth it to see her coming back to "normal."

Shootie

LOL! My oldest, when he turned 25, told his much younger brother and sister that "Mom and Dad really are smart". Since he is an adult, I believe his younger siblings think since he's an adult now, he's now stupid too!
