It is not the consensus that CO2 drives climate temperatures. The underlying physics shows CO2 increases the forces that convect heat energy from the surface of the earth to higher altitudes where it will radiate off the earth.

It is only some models based upon who knows what math defined laws of physics that suppose any CO2 ability to drive temperatures. THE IPCC has published trends in atmospheric temperature profiles vs altitude. Satellite data has found zero evidence of the CO2 caused changes in altitude temperature profiles. The models are demonstrated to be a joke.

The answer is as clear as pink and yellow.
