Today when you have fight with your kid it's very different than when we were being raised.... if we caught hell at 6 pm.....we went to bed....no tv.....no radio.....maybe a book.....and we stewed for hours....maybe pissed off...but we had time to think about what happened....by the next morning we forgot about getting hell and it was as though it never happened.... today if you correct your kid...and send them to their room....they get on the phone....or the laptop....they tell a hundred people that you are fricken' crazy and you're the worst parent alive....and those 100 reinforce that idea...and they tell another 100 before the night is over....buy the next morning you have 200 kids that think you're the worlds biggest asshole...and they see your kid at 8 am and tell them....they are right....and......THEIR PARENTS NEVER DO SHIT LIKE THAT.....NOPE YOUR PARENTS ARE WEIRD! and then after school your kid comes home a tells you the entire school thinks you're an ass.....and the fights start all over again. I firmly believe that you should keep your kid from getting a phone or private computer until the day they threaten to take the bridge ....... SHootie
