None of our founders were devout Christians, zero. Their idea of freedom of religion also included and insisted upon freedom against organized religion, and clear separation of church and state. One last quote for your pinheaded brain to absorb.

That pretty much says it all. But Romney lied, claiming the founders insisted on Christianity being our official religion. It was a gross, cheap shot lie pandering to the religious right to cover up the fact that Romney himself is not only Mormon, but not actually religious at all. In fact I'll bet he almost never goes to church.
