thanks. AFAIK for NOR flash Intel uses 200mm FABspace only. So Numoyx has a chance to reduce cost-per-bit once again when switching to 300mm in Catania maybe about next year. Until then I doubt it will be competitive to SPSNs products with respect to cost-per-bit.

The objective of my post was not to identify and/or speculate as to who has lower cost/bit in the NOR space, it was in reference to some factually incorrect statements.

We all know that Spansion has lower cost/bit in NOR but that in itself is not sufficient for this company to thrive in the space it addresses. Some posters clearly lack objectivity which is essential with every investment. Bombarding all competitors and technologies with half-truths will not help SPSN stock price recover but a good discussion of technology and the environment in which plays, supported by facts when possible, will help readers make right decisions, whether it is to sell or add more to their SPSN holdings.
