FF,

you have deluded yourself into thinking "the basics of economics" is the same as your admittedly unprovable (when what evidence there is indicates you are wrong, which is why you don't argue the data), self serving theories as spoon fed by the uber rich.

my only political bias is that self serving political hacks, on both sides of the isle, and everywhere else, are what make the world a pretty nasty place.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't energy imports larger than any other category? And haven't they gone way way up in price? Of course, for a while we were having our cake and eating it too, but no more, eh?
