I agree with another wiggle up for the v. That being said, I agree about the volume, and that is a biggie for me. While the move up today is nice, let's see if it holds.

All is forgiven if volume comes in soon, but for now I think your concerns about inconsistent structures out there is a valid one, and perhaps warns that in the larger context this is just a jello move. But right here right now I still feel `safer` as a long than a short.
