Embarrassment on NASA's part imo. I suspect scientists would be far more embarrassed if McIntrye's claims about climate reconstructions were true. You avoided addressing the issue that climate scientists had no problem with him finding those temp errors, while very few active climate scientists consider his hockeystick analysis of much worth. The reasons have everything to do with the quality of the respective work, and almost nothing to do with discrimination against an outsider, which is what you deniers are always wailing about. Do good work first, don't wail about imaginary discrimination.
