Sorry, it doesn't hurt kids to grow up believing God created the world instead of thinking everything is a big meaningless accident.

One can always claim ignorance is not a problem. In fact, I suppose it can be a great help, since these kids will grow into adults adept at denying reality whenever convenient, such as AGW. I keep hoping PEW or some polling org will do a poll specifically to see if AGW denial and creationism are well correlated in the USA. What do you think, correlated or not?

Biology and evolution isn't the issue anyway - the issue is philosophical naturalism.

LOL. Could you list the other areas of life where philosophical naturalism poses any problem? Accounting perhaps? Free enterprise? Medicine? Ah, the Weather! AFAIK, those who have a problem with "philosophical naturalism" only have a problem with it wrt to origins and especially common descent, although I think it also plays a role in climate change. A certain class of individual thinks the climate is still the dominion of the Gods, and puny man dare not think he can either understand it, much less predict or control it. Forsooth, didn't the Lord smite those wicked people back at the tower of Babel for thinking exactly such thoughts? Proof beyond doubt that AGW is hogwash! I do wonder what such individuals would think if they knew man once deployed something with 1% of the Suns power, so if we really wanted to we could equal the Suns power. Shocking I say!

I'd cut them a little more slack if when they had a medical emergency, they refrained from modern medicine (you know, all that collection of knowledge, drugs, and practices etc based strictly on philosophical naturalism, and tested repeatedly by the FDA) and instead toughed it out with only miracles as the source of a cure. But no, philosophical naturalism is just fine when they seek medical attention, but most repugnant when used to explain where they came from. But as you say, ignorance doesn't hurt anyone! Of course, since they pray while taking their medical treatment, they attribute their recovery to other things! LOL!. Pray and skip the medicine if you want to test that theory.
