I don't know why you bring up this analogy when you continue to ignore mine.

Your solution of raising taxes is similar to me asking my employer for a raise because I can't stick to a budget and save $1K more per month toward a new home.

Tax-n-spend, tax-n-spend. I don't care if it's better than borrow-n-spend, because the problem is SPENDING.
