Obama is today's Frank Sinatra.

A case could probably be made for humans, as social animals, being predisposed to a messianic leader. Benevolent dictator may fit the human psyche better than free choice with all the attendant responsibility. Dictatorships of one sort or another are historically the norm, it would seem to me.

I can't imagine sending my grandson to Duke, regardless of any networking advantages.
