I see zero chance of this happening.

The choice is between Obama and a Democratic majority (likely large) and McCain and a Democratic majority (perhaps smaller than today).

I mentioned yesterday a friend who went to the polls yesterday to vote against McCain. He's a seventy-something from the South, an independent who votes consistently Republican. Later yesterday he told me he opted, instead, to vote in the Dem primary. He didn't say who got his vote but I know he can't stand Clinton so it must have been Obama. Knowing him as I do, I couldn't imagine a less likely Obama voter. So, for the Obama fans out there, I post this as encouragement. <g>
