Saddam's nuclear program ended some 20 years ago. His WMD program ended in 1992. CLinton made sure in 1998 by bombing every suspected weapons site in the country. After that Bush-cheney had no reliable intel any WMD existed. But they lied to us all anyway, then kicked the UN inspectors out, kept the CIA reports secret to themselves, and misled us into the more disasterous mis-used of our military since Vietnam. We will be paying for their lies and mistakes for decades now. And some 4 million people are now dead, wounded or displaced because of it, creating huge new breeding grounds for potential terrorists. However, a President Obama might end the threat from Islamic terrorists just by being elected. His election would prove that we are not prejudiced. And that would totally disarm Al Qaida and its ability to recruit.
