He wants the minimum wage increased. He doesn't say by how much, but "living wage" hints at a big increase.

Obama's calls for a big increase in the minimum wage seem to be curious. He supposedly is the champion for black. The unemployment burden caused by increases in the minimum wages fall disproportionally on blacks. Thus he is proposing to hurt blacks. Perhaps he is borrowing a page from Jesse Jackson in which he hurts blacks and then plans to use the harm to justify more attacks on freedoms and increased dependence on government.

For general discussion and debate. Possible talking point: Do Tina Fey and Cokie Roberts's feminist expressions over the weekend suggest a serious problem for Democrats if Obama wins the nomination?

Consider that in January, when the Clintons played the race card, there was concern that an Obama loss could further disenfranchise black voters thereby seriously costing the Democrats in the general election.

Using that same logic, are there female Democrats and Independents that might, like Billie Jean King, feel cheated if Hillary loses, and decide to stay home in November?
