I don't know if you were getting these advertisements on TV recently for "http://www.feedthepig.org" They were all over the TV before xmas last year...

Odd, after Jan,,, not so many....

A guy at work (pissed off because his family of 4 would just miss the cutoff)suggested that the stimulus package was targeted at "people who would go out and blow it on a bag of meth and big screen TV's"... so maybe it will work...lol

As much as I like wasting electricity, driving my big ass truck, and polluting the environment all in the name of more drugs, bigger, and longer lasting... it's long been time for an efficiency correction.

A "condo" in china uses probably 1/10th the electricity, and they're using probably 1/10th the energy to move people around.

No wonder they can charge 10 fold less for the same piece of plastic crap we designed...

BS, 30 years ago the commute down the Don Valley Parkway was hopeless. Surely it isn't worse. My boss Eric Glew used to live in Don Mills somewhere, or maybe that was where the Texaco offices were. I forget. I was in Ottawa and only spent a few days in Toronto.

The morning after the night we arrived, we opened the Travelodge curtains and looked out over this huge motorway [such a thing I had never seen]. I counted the lanes and there were about 10 as I recall. Around Europe I had seen maybe 6.

Maybe it was the 401 we were looking at. Come to think of it, I think it was.

Canadians should sell up, or simply abandon their houses, and move to those cheap houses in California. Canada is insanely cold for a ridiculously long part of the year. Or at least buy a winter residence and make annual migrations south, like geese.
