If you want, we can spread out the tax hike over ten years by raising it two percentage points per year.

Of course, once the recession hits, even that might not be enough, so you'll also have to "roll back" the Bush tax cuts in addition to the 21% tax hike.

That ought to "ease" the tax burden onto the public and make it easier for them to accept bigger and bigger government. A liberal's dream. Everyone suffers for the common good. Socialism in action.
