The oil on Titan like the Earth was produced in part, by meteor impacts, whose forces are the proverbial Philosophers Stone. As a space rock impacts a surface, the temperature and pressure transform elements, hydrocarbons or other minerology result. The first effect is cavitating shock waves that disperse at the edges where rock meets rock, each location create vacuums (there is energy in the vacuum), this crumbles the strata in the direction of its forward progression, while the other thermo dynamic forces follow these waves, transforming elements struck, into new states. Including oil. Titan and Earth are both formed by accretion, they are an accumulation of space rocks captured by gravity, accumulating until the debris fields within the gravitational reach, are used up. Impacts are very often a string along a given trajectory. Oil on our planet is always found within hundreds, or up to thousands of miles in any direction of an impact. Often the impact zones are not identifiable because of subsequent erosion over distant time. The real time images of a bolide string; we call Shoemaker Levy, hitting Jupiter shows the creation of the black hydrocarbons moving out from the impact zone and disappearing, about 10 months later, as the liquid hydrocarbons seep downward into cavities beneath the surface. This is the emerging story of Oil.....and..... don't you forget it.. RIP fossil fuel
